ADVISE AND INSPECTION
PROCUREMENT
The early material check is aimed at detecting defects or variations with regard to the defined aesthetical requisites. This inspection phase can inform on availability and exploitation of the specific material and in general on the feasibility of the production line.
FABRICATION / DRY LAY ON-SITE SUPPORT
Through work-in-progress fabrication inspections we control the manufacturing line to prevent imperfections in time as well as visible inconsistencies that may compromise the final work, assembly and installation. With the dry-lay on site support, we deliver the best overall result and composition/blending solutions.
SLAB SELECTION AND SAMPLING
The natural specific features of stones need to undergo a careful selection. Our experience and awareness allow us to identify the materials that bring our contractor/clients to the higher standards in accordance with the defined sample range.
PHOTO /OPERATIONAL REPORTING
We report stone range choices and criteria and the work in progress fabrication process; we provide a detailed sight on the final state of the art for finishing, cut to size, dry lay (when requested), eventual fixing, timing up to crating and delivery.
SLAB MAPPING
The singular features of every material, block, slab and piece in particular need an overall control to optimize the production, to reduce the waste of material and maximize the final aesthetical result and client’s satisfaction.
STONE PRODUCT DESIGN AND FABRICATION OPTIMIZATION
We design and develop stone objects and furniture and their integration also on complex fit out solutions. We provide both detail problem solving and support on testing the several performance aspects of natural stones for exterior and interior building purposes. Our services include the elaboration of detail drawings, renderings and virtual simulations.

The proper and heterogeneous nature of marble, granite and stone in general requires that material and manufacts be inspected in accordance with contractually defined criteria for acceptance/rejection of certain defects or aesthetical aspects regarded as not desirable.
Criteria and guidelines must de defined through samples, indications and clear comments to avoid matters of dispute among the figures involved: suppliers, contractors, designers, other professionals and clients.
Samples play an important role, if chosen to represent the extreme and average aspects of the material as expected by the designers and accepted in agreement with the supplier, the project management and property owner.
Therefore the importance of the stone quality control, carried out by a professional with specific expertise, possibly engaged from the beginning of the agreement process. In addition to the monitoring of the supply and manufacturing, the stone inspector can help find the way to optimize the aesthetics of the pieces and of their composition, in particular when the dry lay phase is planned prior to the approval of the material and crating.
